        About Me

Couture Designer. History + Economics Researcher.

                                                              ______________________________________

I am a high school sophomore with a deep passion for fashion and its transformative power. I am fascinated by how clothing can shift identity, mood, and perception simply through changes in style, color, and silhouette.

I am particularly interested in fashion IN history and its relationship to anthropology and society. I am intrigued by the exchange between clothing and culture—how social movements shape what people wear and how fashion, in turn, signals broader societal change. Further, I am  fascinated by the psychology of color, consumer behavior, successful marketing campaigns and business models.

Currently, I am studying centuries-old couture techniques that emphasize  craftsmanship, and attention to fabric and texture. I think of my approach as slow, thoughtful fashion: creating one-of-a-kind pieces that value intention, quality, and meaning over speed and mass production.
